The Washington State Liquor Control Board (LCB) has issued proposed changes to WAC 314-52 regarding alcohol advertising. They are accepting public comment about the changes until June 15, 2009.

Federal budget cuts would devastate state prevention programs

The Fiscal Year 2010 federal budget proposed by President Obama would eliminate the $4.7M Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Grant to State of the State of Washington that supports the Community Mobilization Program and school-based drug and violence prevention services.
